Registered Nurse's NEEDED for 13 week contracts in York, Camp Hill, Harrisburg area.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and medication management.
• Provide specialized care in areas such as critical care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or long-term care settings.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures such as catheterization, suturing, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and imaging procedures like sonography or mammography.
• Manage complex cases involving trauma medicine, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, or behavioral health needs with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, coordinate case management efforts, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and NCQA standards.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation including ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and detailed medical records for legal and billing purposes.

Skills

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner, EPIC, or Athenahealth for documentation and patient record management.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care.
• Experience working with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care patients, or those requiring specialized services like ostomy care or gastrostomy feeding.
• Skilled in advanced nursing procedures such as ventilator management, tube feeding, wound suturing, catheter care, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and sterile processing techniques.
• Critical care experience in ICU or Level I/II trauma centers preferred; familiarity with trauma medicine and acute pain management is highly valued.
• Ability to perform triage assessments in urgent care or emergency room settings efficiently while prioritizing patient needs.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and experience working within hospital medicine or outpatient clinics ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Pay: $61.00 - $91.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
