Physical Therapist (PT) – Correctional Facility

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to provide patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, deliver therapeutic care, and maintain accurate clinical documentation at a correctional facility in California.

Requirements

• Active and valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license.
• Minimum 12 months of relevant experience within the last 3 years.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA or American Red Cross with AED).
• Current N95 and PAPR medical clearance.
• Annual respiratory protection training.
• Proficiency in English and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services based on physician referrals and orders.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate with healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Be available for telephone consultations while on duty.

Pay: Up to $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
