Lead the Future of Sports Medicine in Rockwall, TX
What if your next leadership opportunity put you in the middle of a thriving sports community, with the opportunity to build something meaningful and an established organization behind you?
At Spooner Rockwall, that's exactly what we're offering.
We're looking for a Sports Medicine Physical Therapist and leader who wants to help shape the future of our clinic, develop a talented team, and build lasting relationships throughout the Rockwall community.
Whether you're already a Clinic Director looking for a new opportunity or an experienced Sports Medicine Physical Therapist ready to take the next step into leadership, we'd love to meet you.
A Sports Medicine Opportunity That Is Hard to Replicate
Spooner Rockwall is located inside AmeriSports, a large sports complex where youth and adult athletes train, compete, and connect throughout the week.
That puts our clinic in a unique position: the athletes and families we want to serve are already around us every day.
As Clinic Director, you'll have the opportunity to build upon established relationships with athletes and the surrounding sports community while developing new connections with coaches, trainers, physicians, and other sports medicine professionals.
And the opportunity extends well beyond athletes. Spooner Rockwall serves the broader community, from active adults and families to anyone who wants to move, feel, and perform better.
This Is Your Opportunity to Lead—and Grow
We're looking for more than someone to manage the day-to-day operations of a clinic. We're looking for a Sports Medicine Physical Therapist who wants to help shape what Spooner Rockwall becomes.
You'll remain an active clinician while leading your team, developing the clinic culture, strengthening community relationships, and driving growth.
You'll also have people working alongside you to make that growth happen. Our Sales team is focused on developing relationships with physicians, sports medicine professionals, and other referral sources, providing ongoing support as you grow the clinic and its presence in the community.
Lead Locally and Be Supported by Spooner
Leading a Spooner clinic in Texas doesn't mean operating on an island.
You'll receive the same support, development, and resources as every Spooner Clinic Director.
That starts with our comprehensive onboarding experience and continues with regular visits and support from Regional Directors. You'll have opportunities to visit Phoenix, engage with Spooner leaders and therapists across the organization, participate in company-wide education and initiatives, and develop relationships with a much larger clinical and leadership team.
You have the opportunity to make Spooner Rockwall your own while having an established organization behind you.
You will build locally without having to build alone.
What You'll Do
As Clinic Director, you'll remain an active clinician while leading the people, culture, and growth of the clinic.
Lead and Develop Your Team
- Mentor, coach, and develop Sports Medicine Physical Therapists and other clinic team members.
- Foster a collaborative environment where clinicians are supported in their professional growth.
- Lead by example through exceptional patient care, communication, and accountability.
- Create a clinic culture where patients and team members can thrive.
Deliver Exceptional Sports Medicine Care
- Remain active in patient care, treating athletes and active individuals across a wide range of ages and abilities.
- Deliver individualized, movement-focused care that helps patients return to the activities that matter most.
- Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, coaches, and other sports medicine professionals.
- Help advance Spooner's approach to sports medicine and primary musculoskeletal care.
Build Relationships and Grow the Clinic
- Strengthen established relationships with athletes, families, coaches, and the surrounding sports community.
- Develop new relationships throughout AmeriSports and the greater Rockwall area.
- Partner with our Sales team to expand referral relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
- Help establish Spooner Rockwall as a trusted destination for sports medicine and orthopedic physical therapy.
Lead the Patient Experience
Our treatment philosophy is centered on delivering an engaging experience for every patient—mind, body, and spirit. As a Director, you are responsible for bringing that to life in every interaction, every session, and every team decision.
Why Spooner?
At Spooner, we believe physical therapists should have the opportunity to grow as clinicians, leaders, and professionals throughout their careers.
We are committed to challenging the status quo, elevating physical therapy as a primary musculoskeletal care solution, and creating an environment where our team members can thrive.
As a Spooner Clinic Director, you'll have access to:
- Comprehensive Onboarding: A structured onboarding experience designed to help you understand Spooner, build relationships, and develop the tools to lead successfully.
- Leadership Development: Ongoing mentorship and professional development to support your growth as a clinician and leader.
- Regional Director Support: Regular visits, collaboration, and guidance from experienced Spooner leaders.
- Company-Funded Continuing Education: Resources to continue developing your clinical expertise and leadership skills.
- Clinical Collaboration: Opportunities to learn from and contribute to experienced clinicians across Spooner.
- Sports Medicine Education: Access to sports medicine learning opportunities and collaboration with therapists who share your passion for working with athletes.
- A Connected Organization: Opportunities to engage with Spooner leaders and therapists through visits to Phoenix, company-wide initiatives, and professional development experiences.
Our culture is built around five Core Values: the Platinum Rule, Communication, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuously Learning.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a Sports Medicine Physical Therapist who is excited about both patient care and the opportunity to lead people.
Qualifications and Experience
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent accredited physical therapy education.
- Current Texas Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, with a strong sports medicine focus.
