Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with strong Payments domain expertise and in-depth knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards, MT and ISO 20022 MX formats , and cross-border payment processing. 🔑 Must-Have Skills Payments Domain – Cross-Border Payments & Correspondent Banking SWIFT MT & ISO 20022 MX Messaging SWIFT CBPR+ & Mapping Rules Payment Messages: MT103, MT202, pacs.008, pacs.009, camt.052/053/054 Azure DevOps (ADO): Epics, Features & User Stories Agile Delivery & Requirements Management UETR Tracking & End-to-End Payment Traceability 💼 Key Responsibilities Act as the SME for SWIFT messaging standards and payment processing requirements.

Define requirements for cross-border payments, correspondent banking, and cash management solutions. Ensure compliance with SWIFT CBPR+, market practice guidelines, and annual SWIFT releases. Collaborate with Operations and Technology teams to define payment processing rules and workflows.

Own requirements for UETR tracking, payment transparency, and end-to-end traceability. Define and validate nostro/vostro accounts, intermediary banking, and settlement workflows. Partner with Compliance, AML, and Sanctions teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Analyze payment exceptions, rejects, returns, repair queues, investigations, and reconciliation to improve Straight-Through Processing (STP) rates.
