About the Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Physical Therapist to join our Harrisonburg, Virginia team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys working with children, values strong relationships with families, and wants the freedom to provide thoughtful, individualized care.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have strong clinical skills, experience working with a diverse pediatric population, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized physical therapy evaluations and treatment to pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on each child's unique needs and goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment as clinically appropriate.
• Provide caregiver education and home exercise programs to promote carryover outside of therapy.
• Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals involved in the child's care.
• Communicate and collaborate with SLP and OT team members when appropriate.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide high-quality, family-centered care while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
• Build positive relationships with children and families in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Virginia licensure.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, parents/caregivers, and other professionals.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team.

Full-time and flexible scheduling options available.

Pay: $45. 00 - $54. 00 per hour
