About this role

Position Overview

Skill is partnering with this client, a rapidly growing agency practice, to find a high-caliber, hands-on Senior Paid Social Media Manager to manage and scale performance advertising across multi-client accounts.

In this role, you will step in immediately to take ownership of media buying, campaign optimization, and strategic narrative building for an active, high-volume Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) food and beverage e-commerce brand entering its peak holiday season.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, execute, monitor, and optimize full-funnel paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Steer performance marketing for an active CPG food and beverage e-commerce client, managing surges in seasonal holiday traffic and order volume.
  • Maintain direct, daily “hands-on-keyboard” control within ad managers, independently managing bid adjustments, budget pacing, audience segmentation, and placement optimizations.
  • Prepare for and lead client-facing calls, translating raw campaign data and performance metrics into compelling, executive-level business narratives.
  • Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, executing seamless onboarding for new client kickoffs and scaling campaigns from ground zero.
  • Partner with and mentor mid-level campaign managers, elevating team execution standards, auditing account structures, and upskilling peers on advanced platform tactics.
  • Oversee end-to-end technical campaign infrastructure, including Meta Pixel setup, Pinterest Tag integration, Conversions API (CAPI) health, and UTM tracking parameters.
  • Monitor attribution modeling and cross-platform reporting in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and third-party attribution dashboards to ensure accurate ROAS and CPA measurement.
  • Collaborate closely with internal account leads, project managers, and creative teams to brief performance-driven ad creative, identify asset fatigue, and execute iterative testing frameworks.
  • Take full ownership of problem identification and troubleshooting across ad delivery, inventory constraints, policy compliance, and conversion drop-offs.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, with a strong background in an advertising agency environment.
  • Demonstrated mastery of Meta Ads Manager and Pinterest Business Manager, along with working proficiency in LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Proven track record driving performance and revenue for e-commerce brands, with specific experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Food & Beverage sector.
  • Direct experience managing high-pressure, seasonal retail rushes and large ad budgets, particularly fourth-quarter holiday buying periods.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently without delegating to junior media buyers, remaining directly responsible for day-to-day tactical execution and analysis.
  • Proven experience presenting to external clients, running campaign check-ins, answering technical questions on the fly, and conveying strategic value.
  • High degree of initiative, proactivity, and curiosity, with the confidence to voice recommendations, identify operational bottlenecks, and help build a new agency division.
  • Proficiency with ad tech implementation, web analytics (GA4), conversion tracking, catalog feed management, and full-funnel attribution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing third-party e-commerce attribution and analytics platforms such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or Looker Studio.
  • Formal platform credentials, such as Meta Certified Media Buying Professional or Pinterest Ads Certification.
  • Experience establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs), account audit frameworks, or creative testing playbooks within a growing paid media team.
