Associate Attorney, Litigation

We are a small civil litigation law firm that works on large commercial cases. We are seeking a driven attorney to handle cases from initial review through appeal primarily in the areas of civil, business, real estate, and construction litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee civil and general commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, including case assessment, strategy development, and calendar management.
• Prepare for and participate in court depositions, hearings, and trials; draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other resources; analyze evidence, negotiate settlements, and advocate for clients in negotiations and proceedings.
• Advise clients on procedural law, risk assessment, and case strategy; coordinate with investigators, experts, and other counsel as needed.
• Maintain thorough case management, document organization, and communication with stakeholders to ensure timely progression of matters.
