Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations through telehealth.
• Diagnose and manage psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation.
• Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients and practice staff.
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered psychiatric care.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) certification.
• Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner licensure and appropriate prescriptive authority.
• Residence in Maryland.
• Active professional malpractice insurance.
• Ability to provide independent clinical services in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred:

• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry, inpatient behavioral health, or crisis intervention.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and electronic health records.
• Experience serving patients across a variety of age groups.
• New graduates with a strong psychiatric nursing background are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Engagement

• Compensation: $90 per encounter (initial and follow-up)
• Flexible Full-time caseload opportunities - (40 patients a week minimum)
• Independent contractor (1099) arrangement.
• No employer-sponsored benefits included with this contractor position.
