Physical Therapist Pediatrics/ Department Manager

An Opportunity to Build and Grow a PT Department:

Sensory Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced, motivated pediatric Physical Therapist to deliver exceptional one-on-one care while helping develop and expand our Physical Therapy department.

You will be the sole Physical Therapist in the department initially, providing services across multiple locations and taking an active role in building a sustainable PT program. This opportunity combines clinical independence, program development, and collaboration with an established multidisciplinary team. Adding additional PT/ PTA is the goal.

Our offices are open Monday through Thursday allowing everyone a three- day weekend to recharge weekly.

About Sensory Solutions

We provide pediatric Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy at four St.

Louis-area clinics

Creve Coeur, Florissant (North County), South County, and St. Peters. Our approach emphasizes individualized treatment, early intervention, and strong partnerships with families.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Complete pediatric PT evaluations and individualized plans of care.
• Provide one-on-one therapy for gross motor delays, balance and coordination challenges, neurological conditions, and other pediatric needs.
• Deliver care at multiple Sensory Solutions locations.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and families.
• Provide caregiver education, home programs, progress monitoring, and timely documentation.
• Department Growth & Development
• Partner with leadership to expand PT services, referrals, and patient access.
• Build relationships with pediatricians, specialists, and community referral sources.
• Identify opportunities for new pediatric PT programs and specialized services.
• Help develop efficient scheduling and clinical processes across locations.
• Contribute to future staffing plans and clinical standards as the department grows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Missouri PT license or eligibility for licensure.
• Pediatric physical therapy experience and ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Willingness to travel between St. Louis-area clinic locations.
• Strong communication, organization, initiative, and interest in department development.
• Preferred: outpatient pediatric experience, referral relationship development, or clinical leadership experience.
