You’ll work directly with ownership and have real authority over how work gets done.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all active projects and field crews, including working foremen, to keep work on schedule, on budget, and to our quality standards
- Own the project lifecycle from sale handoff through estimating, punch list, final walkthrough, and closeout
- Manage crew scheduling and allocation of labor, equipment, and materials across jobs
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, including scope, and contracts
- Oversee the equipment fleet: maintenance, deployment, hauling, and downtime
- Lead the safety program, including incident reporting and DOT compliance
- Verify arena-specific quality: base prep, compaction, footing depths, slopes, and drainage
- Serve as a client contact during construction, setting expectations and resolving issues professionally
- Track schedule, labor, materials, and change orders, and report weekly to ownership
- Coordinate material procurement and deliveries
- Partner with ownership on weekly executive meetings, strategic planning, and growth
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and team culture
- Build and maintain SOPs, checklists, and policies
Requirements
- 5+ years in construction operations, project management, or field supervision, with 2+ years managing multiple crews or projects

- Proven ability to lead and hold people accountable
- Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and contracts
- Working knowledge of jobsite safety and DOT compliance
- Ability to read plans, site layouts, and grades
- Excellent communication skills and a polished presence with high-end clients
- Comfort with scheduling, project tracking, and reporting tools
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying conditions
Nice to Have
- Equestrian arena or agricultural construction experience
- 2D/3D machine control and GPS grading experience
