Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Program Manager / Delivery Lead

to lead the end-to-end execution of a large-scale

Android platform modernization and application migration program

for a next-generation

In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) platform

.

The role will drive program planning, execution governance, schedule management, dependency tracking, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, integration, verification, release readiness, and customer acceptance activities across multiple engineering workstreams.

This is primarily a

program execution and delivery leadership role

, not a hands-on software development position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end program execution across Android platform, middleware, and application migration initiatives.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and release schedules.
  • Coordinate distributed onsite/offshore engineering teams across

Android/BSP, middleware, passenger/crew applications, maintenance applications, DevOps, integration, and testing

.

  • Establish governance for scope, schedule, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Drive sprint, release, milestone, and integration planning.
  • Monitor project health, schedule variance, resource capacity, and delivery progress.
  • Identify execution risks and develop mitigation/recovery plans.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and ensure timely closure of action items.
  • Lead milestone readiness reviews for integration, verification, qualification, and releases.
  • Coordinate resolution of infrastructure, environment, access, integration, and test-related impediments.
  • Serve as the primary delivery interface for customers, engineering leadership, architects, and program stakeholders.
  • Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, risks, issues, and delivery metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement in program execution, delivery governance, and release processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 12+ years

of experience across software engineering, embedded systems, or technology program management.

  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale software development programs.
  • Proven experience leading complex

platform migration, modernization, or embedded software programs

.

  • Experience managing multiple engineering workstreams involving development, integration, testing, and release.
  • Strong experience with program planning, scheduling, risk/issue management, dependency tracking, and escalation.
  • Experience managing globally distributed onsite/offshore teams.
  • Strong customer, stakeholder, and executive communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver in schedule-sensitive and technically complex environments.
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing

Android/AOSP platform programs

  • Knowledge of

AOSP, BSP, Embedded Linux, Android-based products, CTS/VTS, and platform qualification

.

  • Experience with

Android migration or modernization programs

.

  • Background in

In-Flight Entertainment (IFE), aerospace, automotive infotainment, consumer electronics, or connected products

  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, software release management, and product qualification.
  • Experience working with offshore/onsite delivery models.
  • Experience with

Android-based infotainment development programs
