Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Software Engineer

to support the next-generation

Point-of-Sale (POS) platform

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for backend development, cloud-native services, microservices architecture, production support, and platform enhancements to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

Golang-based microservices and APIs

.

• Build and enhance

REST and GraphQL services

supporting store operations and enterprise integrations.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

, and implement permanent solutions.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Refactor legacy applications to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Support production deployments, change management, and operational readiness activities.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on

Golang development

experience.

• Strong expertise in

Microservices Architecture

.

• Experience designing and developing

REST APIs

and

GraphQL services

.

• Strong understanding of

SQL databases

(PostgreSQL preferred).

• Experience with cloud platforms (

AWS, Azure, or GCP

).

• CI/CD pipeline development and deployment experience.
• Strong production support, troubleshooting, and RCA experience.
• Understanding of

HTTP, TCP/IP, and distributed systems

.

• Experience with

GraphQL (gqlgen or similar), gRPC, Protobuf, and OpenAPI

.

• Hands-on experience with messaging platforms such as

Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or AWS SQS

.

• Experience with

Kubernetes

and containerized environments.

• Prior experience in

Retail, POS, or Store Systems

is highly preferred.
