Sandia Sunrise Therapy is looking for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic in Albuquerque. This position is a great fit for a clinician who enjoys working with children, partnering with families, and helping patients build the skills they need to participate more fully in everyday activities.
Our PTs work with children ages 0–21 with a variety of developmental and physical needs. We value clinical growth, individualized care, and creating positive therapy experiences for both patients and families.
Your Day-to-Day
- Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide physical therapy treatment based on each child’s strengths, needs, and goals
- Address mobility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional movement
- Develop home exercise programs and practical strategies for families
- Track progress and complete evaluations, progress reports, and required documentation
- Educate caregivers and collaborate with other members of the child’s care team
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging treatment space
- Participate in continuing education and professional development

Qualifications
- Current New Mexico Physical Therapy license
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
