Sandia Sunrise Therapy is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient therapy clinic in Albuquerque. We’re looking for a clinician who enjoys building relationships with children and families and creating therapy that is engaging, functional, and individualized.
Our OT team works with children ages 0–21 across a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs. Whether you’re an experienced pediatric therapist or a newer clinician looking to grow your skills, we offer mentorship and opportunities to develop your clinical interests.
In This Role, You Will
- Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide engaging, evidence-based treatment for pediatric patients
- Address functional skills including fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, and participation in daily activities
- Establish meaningful goals based on each child’s needs and family priorities
- Provide families with practical strategies and home activities
- Monitor progress and complete evaluations, progress reports, and other required documentation
- Communicate with caregivers and collaborate with other therapy professionals
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging therapy space
- Participate in continuing education and professional development

Qualifications
- Current New Mexico Occupational Therapy license
- NBCOT certification
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to an interdisciplinary team
