**Role Description**
The Senior Designer / Associate Product Manager is a full\-time, on\-site role based in San Diego County, CA. This role leads interior design projects from concept through installation, including space planning, finish and furniture selection, and the creation of presentation materials.
Daily responsibilities include collaborating with clients and internal teams, coordinating with vendors and contractors, managing project timelines and budgets, and overseeing the implementation of design standards across multiple property types. The role also involves reviewing plans and specifications, preparing documentation and working through the FFE process.
The Senior Designer / Associate Product Manager supports continuous improvement of design processes and contributes to new product and service offerings aligned with the company’s portfolio.
**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated expertise in interior design for commercial spaces, including space planning, finish and material selection, and furniture layout.
- Strong project coordination skills, with experience managing schedules, budgets, vendor relationships, and installation logistics for multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency with design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar, Adobe Creative Suite, presentation software) and comfort working with construction documents.
- Effective client\-facing communication skills, including the ability to present concepts, gather feedback, and collaborate with builders, developers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members, support cross\-functional collaboration, and contribute to refining design standards and processes.
- Detail\-oriented approach with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast\-paced, deadline\-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
