About this role
About Dokmee
Dokmee is a software company specializing in Document Capture, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), workflow automation, and document management solutions.
We work with organizations and business partners across multiple industries and markets to improve the way business information is captured, processed, managed, stored, and accessed.
As we continue to grow our presence in the United States, we are looking for an Account Executive to develop new business, manage sales opportunities, and build relationships with customers and business partners across the U.S. market.
The Opportunity
This is a fully remote, individual-contributor sales position with a strong focus on new business development.
The Account Executive will manage the full B2B sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through discovery, software demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
While you will receive and manage inbound opportunities, this is not a position built exclusively around inbound leads. You will also be expected to actively develop your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, networking, customer development, and potential business partnerships.
This opportunity is best suited for a sales professional who has already developed a foundation in B2B sales and is ready to take greater ownership of their pipeline, opportunities, and results.
We are looking for someone who is motivated by measurable goals, comfortable being accountable for sales performance, and interested in building a long-term career within a growing international software company.
Who We're Looking For
Our preferred candidate combines the mindset of a business developer with the skills of an account executive.
You should be comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them. That means reaching out to prospective customers, starting conversations, qualifying opportunities, conducting discovery meetings, presenting software solutions, developing proposals, negotiating, and asking for the business.
At the same time, we value a consultative approach to sales. Our solutions address real business and operational challenges, so the ability to listen, understand customer requirements, and communicate business value is essential.
You are likely to succeed in this position if you:
- Are competitive, self-motivated, and energized by measurable sales goals
- Enjoy prospecting and are comfortable generating your own opportunities
- Are confident making outbound calls and initiating conversations with new prospects
- Take ownership of your pipeline and follow up consistently
- Are comfortable presenting technology and software solutions to business professionals
- Can combine persistence with a professional and consultative sales approach
- Are organized and capable of managing multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
- Work effectively without constant day-to-day supervision
- Are comfortable being accountable for activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
- Value consistency, professional growth, and long-term career development
- Are eager to learn new products, industries, and technologies
- Work well independently while remaining collaborative within a global team
Responsibilities
As Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales opportunities within your assigned U.S. territory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct regular outbound prospecting through phone, email, networking, and other business-development activities
- Follow up on and qualify inbound sales opportunities
- Identify and develop prospective end-user customers and potential business partners
- Manage opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle, from initial contact through closing
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer requirements, business challenges, decision criteria, budgets, and timelines
- Deliver live online demonstrations of Dokmee software solutions to prospective customers and partners
- Develop and present proposals, quotations, and commercial recommendations
- Negotiate commercial terms and work toward successful closure of opportunities
- Maintain consistent and professional follow-up with prospects and active opportunities
- Develop and maintain an organized and qualified sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate opportunity, customer, activity, and forecasting information within the company's CRM
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and business partners
- Identify potential expansion opportunities within existing relationships
- Coordinate with technical, support, administration, and management teams throughout the sales process when required
- Develop a strong understanding of Dokmee's software portfolio and communicate its business value effectively
- Meet established sales activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
- Participate in regular pipeline reviews and sales forecasting
- Represent Dokmee at industry events, conferences, and trade shows when required
- Travel domestically for customer meetings, partner visits, conferences, and other business activities when necessary
Qualifications

- Approximately 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, with demonstrated responsibility for prospecting, developing, or closing business

- Ability to manage opportunities through multiple stages of a sales cycle
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence conducting professional online meetings and presentations
- Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable using CRM systems and other online sales tools
- Strong general computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software
- Ability to work independently and remain accountable in a fully remote environment
- Professional and reliable remote working environment

Work Environment
