Responsibilities

Own a primary 10-week Capstone Project focusing on new product design, mechanical component iteration, or structural optimization Create detailed 3D CAD models, production drawings, and structural simulations using SolidWorks Work hands-on with prototyping tools, fabrication machinery, and functional testing setups in our Columbus plant Collaborate with other designers and cross-functional teams

Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate (Junior/Senior) or Graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, value stream mapping, ergonomic assessments, and process optimization Passion for hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with simulation software (Arena, Simio) or CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus
