SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

OVERVIEW

Join us in developing next-generation sensing technologies for demanding automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial applications worldwide. As a Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of advanced liquid level sensing solutions, owning the complete system from sensor technology and electronics to signal processing, validation, and production launch.

Working with technologies such as Guided Wave Radar (GWR), capacitive sensing, and ultrasonic sensing, you'll solve complex technical challenges and create robust, high-performance products that operate reliably in the toughest real-world environments.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on engineer to drive innovation, influence product architecture, and see their work deployed globally across construction, agriculture, mining, commercial vehicle, and industrial markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead the development of advanced liquid level sensing systems from concept through production.

· Own sensor system architecture, including sensing technology, analog and mixed-signal electronics, embedded processing, and system integration.

· Design robust solutions for demanding automotive and heavy equipment environments, including extreme temperatures, vibration, EMI, and harsh operating conditions.

· Drive innovation in sensor performance, measurement techniques, and signal processing.

· Provide technical leadership, root cause analysis, and problem-solving for complex sensing challenges.

· Lead product validation, reliability testing, and production readiness activities.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, global OEMs, and customers to deliver world-class sensing solutions.

· Support automotive development processes, including APQP, DFMEA/PFMEA, DV/PV validation, and IATF 16949 quality standards.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

· Strong expertise in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, sensor interfaces, and embedded systems.

· Experience with one or more sensing technologies such as radar, capacitive, ultrasonic, inductive, optical, or similar measurement systems.

· Proven ability to translate sensor physics into robust, real-world products.

· Hands-on approach to engineering, including prototyping, testing, debugging, and validation.

· Familiarity with automotive or industrial product development processes, including APQP, DFMEA/PFMEA, environmental validation, and quality systems such as IATF 16949.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions to complex technical challenges.

· Comfortable working across disciplines, including sensing technology, electronics, firmware, manufacturing, and testing.

· Passion for developing reliable, high-performance products that deliver measurable value to customers.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

· Extensive experience developing sensor, instrumentation, or embedded electronic products from concept through production launch.

· Experience designing electronics and sensing systems for demanding environments, including temperature extremes, vibration, EMI, and industrial applications.
