The Opportunity

As the Technical Product Lead for the ePlex platform, you will take full technical end-to-end ownership of assigned on-market products, driving overall performance, quality, and lifecycle strategies. Reporting directly to the Product Care Quality Team (PCQT), you will lead the cross-functional Product Team Meeting (PTM) to champion a unified OneRoche mindset across complex technical and operational landscapes.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Product Ownership & Specifications: Serve as the central owner for product specifications, performance, and quality KPIs, ensuring high accountability across the assigned on-market portfolio throughout its post-launch lifecycle
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment: Lead the Product Team Meeting (PTM) and drive alignment across Production, R&D, GCS, PMQ, Engineering, QA, Regulatory Affairs, and Business Area functions to define and track yearly Product Care objectives
  • Project & Portfolio Management: Oversee underlying project management activities—including scope, budget, timelines, resources, and quality deliverable tracking—for cross-functional PCQT and Operations projects in collaboration with project leads
  • Issue, Risk & CAPA Management: Lead holistic root cause analysis for quality and performance issues, direct the Issue Assessment Meeting (IAM) when requested, oversee CAPA/Configuration/Change Management, and maintain the ongoing Product Risk Management File (including process-FMEAs alongside Production leadership)
  • Lifecycle & Supplier Strategy: Direct all lifecycle management activities, including phase-in/phase-out strategies for suppliers, budget planning/reconciliation, and representing the product portfolio during internal and external regulatory audits
  • Customer Focus & Strategic Prioritization: Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the Roche customer experience while maintaining clear, strategic prioritization aligned with organizational goals

Who You Are:

  • Bachelors Degree in focus areas such as Finance, Operations management, Project Management or related degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in focus areas such as Sciences/Engineering, Operations management, Project Management or related degree
  • Proven record of cross functional project leadership and excellent root cause analysis skills
  • Team-oriented personality with very good networked thinking and excellent collaboration skills
  • Independent working style as well as very good communication and presentation skills
  • High assertiveness, flexible, resilient and open personality
  • Ten or more (10+) years of experience in product care, production, development and/or related projects
  • Agile / Scrum Master / PMP certification preferred

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Carlsbad, CA is $127,400 - $236,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
