Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and CI/CD automation.
The candidate will be responsible for automating the provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational management of customer environments across AWS and GCP. The role involves building reusable infrastructure modules, managing cloud resources, implementing deployment pipelines, and ensuring secure, scalable, and observable environments.
The engineer will also manage the infrastructure supporting RAG and knowledge pipelines, including document stores, vector databases, search indexes, and indexing jobs. This is an infrastructure and platform engineering role, not a conversational application or retrieval logic development position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform across AWS and GCP.
- Automate cloud resource provisioning, service enablement, networking, IAM, secrets management, and logging.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for controlled deployment and promotion of pre-built application packages and customer-specific configurations.
- Provision and manage infrastructure for RAG and knowledge pipelines, including document stores, vector databases, search indexes, and scheduled indexing jobs.
- Implement automated environment creation, updates, backups, snapshots, and teardown processes.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, logging, and dashboards to ensure operational readiness.
- Manage cloud security through IAM policies, secrets managers, private networking, and audit logging.
- Collaborate with architects, application specialists, and data engineers to translate infrastructure designs into reusable deployment modules.
- Optimize cloud costs through budgets, resource tagging, labels, and idle-environment management.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7–10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform on both AWS and GCP.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and GCP infrastructure provisioning and operations.
- Experience with AWS CDK, Google Cloud Build, and AWS CodePipeline.
- Hands-on experience with IAM, secrets management, networking, and cloud security.
- Understanding of cloud landing zones and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
- Exposure to vector databases, search indexes, and RAG/knowledge pipeline infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Google Vertex AI and AWS Bedrock infrastructure.
- AWS DevOps/SysOps or Google Cloud DevOps certification preferred.
- Experience deploying contact-center or conversational AI platforms is an advantage.UU
