JobDescription:

We are seeking a talented Java SRE Telemetry Engineer to design, develop, and support observability and telemetry solutions for large-scale enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will combine expertise in Java development, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), monitoring, telemetry, observability, automation, and cloud technologies to ensure high system availability, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain telemetry instrumentation for Java-based applications.
• Implement observability solutions using logs, metrics, traces, and events.
• Develop and optimize monitoring frameworks to proactively identify system issues.
• Build dashboards, alerts, and service health monitoring solutions.
• Integrate OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing across enterprise services.
• Analyze application performance and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to improve reliability.
• Define and maintain Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Automate operational workflows and incident response processes.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Enhance platform reliability, scalability, and resiliency.
• Contribute to capacity planning, disaster recovery, and performance optimization initiatives.
