**Position Summary**
Robertshaw is seeking a Senior Director, Product Management to lead the global Product Management organization for its Gas and Water Valve product lines.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role will own product strategy, portfolio direction, market development, and commercial performance for these businesses. The Senior Director will lead a global Product Management team and work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive profitable growth, strengthen the portfolio, and develop the next generation of products.
This is a hands\-on leadership role. The successful candidate will set strategy while remaining directly involved with key customers, product roadmaps, competitive analysis, business cases, pricing, and major product development initiatives. **Key Responsibilities*** Lead global product strategy and portfolio management for Robertshaw's **gas and water valve product lines**.
- Develop product roadmaps based on customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, technology, and growth opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to grow the business through new products, applications, customers, and adjacent markets.
- Manage product portfolio performance, including revenue, margin, pricing, product costs, and investment priorities.
- Work directly with key customers and Sales to understand market needs and develop commercial opportunities.
- Partner with Engineering to prioritize product development and ensure resources are focused on the highest\-value opportunities.
- Work with Operations and Supply Chain on product cost, manufacturing strategy, capacity, and footprint.
- Lead cross\-functional teams through product development, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
- Establish effective Product Management processes and develop a strong global team.
- Evaluate portfolio opportunities to reduce unnecessary customization and complexity while increasing differentiated products and platforms.
- Personally lead critical customer, product, and strategic initiatives when hands\-on involvement is required.
**Qualifications*** Approximately 12 years of progressive experience in Product Management, Engineering, Business Development, Sales, or related technical/commercial roles.
- **Direct experience with gas valves and/or water valves is required**, preferably in appliance, HVAC, water heating, or related industrial applications.
- Demonstrated experience developing product strategy and leading global teams.
- Proven commercial track record with responsibility for product growth, profitability, pricing, or portfolio performance.
- Experience working directly with OEM customers and understanding their product development and purchasing processes.
- Strong understanding of product development, commercialization, and product lifecycle management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong cross\-functional leadership and influencing skills.
- Willingness to travel globally.
The salary range for this position is $180,000 to $210,000 and eligible to participate in our Management Incentive Program. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
