The ideal candidate brings solid general ledger experience, strong analytical ability, and confidence communicating financial matters with both operations teams and property stakeholders.

- Partner with property managers and regional leaders to discuss results, answer questions, and provide clear financial insight for each community.
- Investigate variances in operating results and explain key drivers to leadership and property owners in a concise, business-focused manner.
- Monitor property-level cash positions, assess funding needs, and authorize payable disbursements based on available balances and operational priorities.
- Complete bank reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet accounts to support clean and accurate month-end reporting.
- Support annual property tax payment activities and assist with additional accounting assignments as business needs evolve.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- At least 1 year of relevant general ledger accounting experience, with 2 to 3 years preferred.
- Prior exposure to property accounting or the property management industry is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with OneSite accounting software is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word for daily accounting and reporting tasks.
- Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting, month-end close procedures, reconciliations, and internal controls.
