Rivet is an American company building integrated hardware and software task systems for industrial workforces and defense personnel. Rivet is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for a hands-on summer internship developing, testing, and debugging edge and hardware-integrated software involving perception, computer vision, sensor fusion, and edge machine learning.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and debug C++ and C# software for edge and hardware-integrated systems Contribute to systems involving perception, computer vision, sensor fusion, or edge ML Build and evaluate software on real hardware, diagnose issues, and improve system performance and reliability Collaborate with software, hardware, and other engineering teams to bring features from development through testing and deployment

Qualifications: Due to the nature of our business and compliance with federal regulations, all candidates must be a "U.S.

Person" Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field Strong programming experience in C++, C#, or another lower-level programming language, with a willingness to work close to hardware Strong interest in at least one of perception, computer vision, sensor fusion, or edge machine learning U.S.
