About this role
Company Description
Rise Kids Therapy and Wellness provides outpatient occupational services to pediatric populations with a focus on self-regulation, sensory processing, and feeding therapy. Our practice partners closely with families and educators to help children overcome developmental barriers in practical, everyday environments.
Services are tailored to each child’s unique needs, promoting improved participation, regulation, and independence. Rise Kids emphasizes collaborative care, empowering caregivers with tools and strategies to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
Role Description
This is a contract, on-site Occupational Therapist role based to provide mobile therapy services at homes, schools, and daycares in either the Charlotte, NC and/or Davidson/Cornelius/Huntersville/Mooresville areas. The Occupational Therapist will travel to various referral sites to provide pediatric therapy services including evaluation, treatment, and caregiver education.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, implementing sensory-based and functional treatment activities, supporting feeding and self-care skills, documenting progress in a clear and timely manner, and providing clear home programming and caregiver education.
The role involves collaborating with caregivers, educators, and other professionals to develop practical strategies that can be used across environments.
We are a small practice with great flexibility and a nurturing, understanding work environment. The perfect candidate would have at least 2 years of pediatric therapy practice and be a self-starter to work within our small practice.
