Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a psychiatric setting
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner and eClinicalWorks

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse
• Experience in a variety of psychiatric settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments
• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based practices for psychiatric care
• Knowledge of specialized areas such as ophthalmology, infant care, dementia care, utilization management, airway management, and neonatal ventilator support
