Controller

Job Description

Resin Distribution Inc. is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee all of the accounting, human resources and internal controls within the organization. This role requires a hands-on financial leader with a strong background as a Controller, experienced in private company environments. This is an in-office position in our Ayer, MA facility reporting directly to the President.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage month-end and year-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting.

· Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.

· Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management and reconciliations.

· Coordinate annual audits.

· Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.

· Manage all benefits and insurance programs.

· File various state sales and use taxes and GST/HST/QST taxes.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

· 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.

· Strong knowledge of GAAP.

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Quickbooks on-line, iSolved software.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
