Investment Products Attorney (2533EC5)

Referment is working with an established investment management firm to find an attorney for its investment-products legal team. The position supports investor-facing activity and fund formation across public- and private-market strategies, combining investment-management law with close involvement in commercial decision-making.

You will partner with investment, business development, investor relations and corporate development colleagues. The remit spans new product launches, separate accounts, investor negotiations and advice on existing offerings, giving you direct involvement from product formation through ongoing operation.

The Role

Advise on the development and launch of investment products and separately managed accounts. Negotiate terms with prospective clients and investors, balancing legal, regulatory and commercial considerations. Provide ongoing legal advice on existing investment products and investor-facing activity.

Counsel corporate development colleagues on potential investment strategies, new business lines and strategic initiatives. Work closely with investment and commercial teams to identify issues and develop practical solutions.

What We're Looking For

• A law degree and four to five years of relevant experience gained in private practice, in-house or both.
• Experience with private funds, whether open-ended or closed-ended.
• Familiarity with key laws and regulations governing investment management.
• Strong analytical ability and judgement in a commercial setting.
• Clear communication and strong organisation across several teams.
