Referment is working with a global investment firm hiring a full-stack engineer for its generative AI services team. The team develops and supports the platforms and applications that bring generative AI capabilities to users across the firm, with a focus on user-facing tools and robust APIs. You'll collaborate with a range of technical and business groups to shape AI-driven solutions people actually use.
The Role
- Design and implement web applications and interfaces that make generative AI tools accessible and effective for users across the firm.
- Develop and maintain the APIs and backend services that power generative AI applications and integrate with internal systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into high-quality, user-centric solutions.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through deployment and ongoing improvement.
- Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and team initiatives that strengthen engineering practices and product quality.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency building web applications, including experience with modern UI frameworks and front-end technologies.
- Experience designing and developing APIs and backend services in a production environment.
- Interest in generative AI technologies and a collaborative, pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication, self-management, and organizational skills, with a client-service mindset toward colleagues across the firm.
