Registered Nurse

Overview

Red River Behavioral is a 20 Bed Geri-Psych Hospital. We are one of the best kept secrets in North Bossier. Large enough to provide quality care but small enough to offer the people & team-oriented environment everybody desires.

I am in need of a FT RN to work as a charge nurse FOR 7A-7P.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient conditions, responding appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate effective communication.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
• Perform various clinical procedures including occasional IV insertion, in out cath. insertion etc.

Experience

Candidates should have a strong background in nursing with experience that may include but is not limited to:

• 1 year of nursing care preferred

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
