Associate Attorney

Raynor & Farmer, P.C. seeks a motivated attorney to join its established, boutique family law practice in Charlottesville, Virginia. Our attorneys handle challenging, sophisticated family law matters in a small firm environment that offers meaningful responsibility, direct client contact, and substantial opportunities for hands-on litigation experience.

Candidates must possess strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to excellence. Third year students, recent graduates, and experienced lateral candidates will be considered.

Initial responsibilities will depend on experience and skill level. New or recent graduates, or those new to litigation or family law should expect immediate opportunities for client contact and substantive involvement in cases. Responsibilities will include drafting pleadings and other legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing second-chair assistance at depositions, hearings, and trial.

Lateral attorneys with prior family law experience can expect to serve as lead counsel on all manner of family law-related matters, including trial.
