Licensed Occupational Therapist

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with physical, emotional, or developmental challenges to help them achieve independence in their daily activities. You will work in patient home , providing tailored therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

**Responsibilities**

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and speech therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and adaptive techniques for daily living.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Advocate for patients with disabilities to enhance their access to necessary resources and support services.

**Qualifications**

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
• Experience in acute care settings or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities and providing therapy in Home enviroment is a plus.
• Skills in speech therapy are beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team\-oriented environment.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in occupational therapy.

Part\-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $95\. 00 \- $115\. 00 per hour
