Attorney - Pre-Litigation

Rafi Law Group is expanding its legal team in Phoenix, Arizona, and seeking a driven, knowledgeable, and client-focused Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, overseeing legal strategy, case development, and resolution.
• Evaluate potential claims by reviewing liability, damages, insurance coverage, and supporting evidence.
• Provide legal guidance to clients regarding their cases, available options, and potential outcomes.
• Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other involved parties.
• Review medical documentation, accident reports, investigative findings, and other case-related evidence.
• Develop settlement strategies and negotiate resolutions that protect clients' interests.
• Draft, review, and evaluate legal documents, settlement agreements, correspondence, and case materials.
• Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and legal support professionals to ensure efficient case progression.
• Identify potential legal challenges and develop appropriate strategies to address them.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and deadlines.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and other legal proceedings, as appropriate to the attorney's assigned matters.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients while providing compassionate and professional legal representation.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Arizona and membership in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona.
• Experience handling personal injury matters preferred.
• Knowledge of Arizona personal injury law, insurance claims, liability principles, and settlement negotiations.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to independently evaluate cases and make sound legal decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple active matters.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, results-oriented legal environment.
• Demonstrated professionalism, ethical judgment, and commitment to client advocacy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
