A leading quantitative trading and investment firm is seeking a

Senior System Engineer

to join its growing infrastructure team in New York.

This role will focus on designing, automating, and supporting large-scale Linux and virtualised environments that underpin business-critical systems and global operations. You'll work closely with engineering, platform, and technology teams to deliver highly available, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Requirements:

• Strong Linux systems administration experience
• Expertise with VMware technologies (ESXi/vCenter/vSphere)
• Python and shell scripting for automation
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Exposure to Kubernetes and modern cloud technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and project delivery skills
