Systems Engineer

Tier 2 Systems Engineer | Charlotte, NC | Up to $65,000 | Full-Time, ON-SITE | Traveling role

Quo Vadis is a fresh take on managed IT services, named Charlotte’s best IT provider. We support small and midsize businesses in professional services, healthcare, automotive, and more. We’re hiring a Tier II tech to take the issues that need more than a first pass, get new clients set up right, and show up on-site as the face of Quo Vadis.

What you’ll do

• Onboard new clients and learn each one’s systems.
• Set up and configure computers, networks, and related devices.
• Resolve advanced issues remotely and on-site, including escalations from Tier I.
• Use RMM tools and help desk support to catch problems early.
• Keep clients and teammates in the loop and document your work clearly.
• You will be On-call every 5 weeks from 7 am to 10 pm Sun-Sat

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years in IT support or systems engineering.
• You enjoy working alongside a strong technical team, contributing ideas, sharing knowledge, and achieving goals through collaboration rather than working independently.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, RMM tools, and help desk support.
• You troubleshoot across many client environments, not one standard setup.
• A clear, friendly communicator who follows through and owns the work.
• Local to Charlotte with reliable transportation. Site visits can run 50 to 70 percent of your week in busy stretches.
• No degree required.
• MSP experience is a big plus, as is NinjaOne, SonicWall, UniFi, or HaloPSA. A+, Network+, Security+, or AZ-900 are valued, and we support earning them.
