POSITION SUMMARY\u00A0

The Product Manager\u00A0(PM)\u00A0is\u00A0owner and\u00A0the operational engine of the\u00A0assigned\u00A0product line\u00A0-\u00A0accountable for portfolio P performance and is expected to set the standard for product excellence across\u00A0business planning and\u00A0commercial outcomes.\u00A0

This role is\u00A0a high-visibility, cross-functional role\u00A0and\u00A0the critical bridge between the customer's fab floor or formulation lab and the company's product portfolio.\u00A0

The PM owns the 'now': ensuring the right product is available\u00A0at\u00A0the right\u00A0quality, positioned correctly, and delivering planned margin\u00A0-\u00A0while feeding market intelligence back to the Segment Marketing\u00A0Manager\u00A0(SM)\u00A0to continuously sharpen the long-term strategy.\u00A0\u00A0

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\u00A0

Product Line P& Commercial Execution\u00A0

Core\u00A0accountability\u00A0\u2013\u00A0This\u00A0is\u00A0what\u00A0the PM is ultimately measured on.\u00A0

  • Own gross margin, volume, and revenue targets for the assigned product line on a\u00A012-month\u00A0rolling basis.\u00A0
  • Manage product line profit analysis and\u00A0lead cross-functional teams to deliver\u00A0portfolio profitability\u00A0improvement\u00A0\u00A0
  • Execute the annual commercial plan (pricing, volume mix, customer targets) within the strategic framework set by the\u00A0SM.\u00A0
  • Manage price\u00A0realization\u00A0-\u00A0implement approved price changes, negotiate deviations with Sales within\u00A0authorized\u00A0bands, and track margin waterfall monthly.\u00A0
  • Conduct monthly portfolio health reviews: identify margin erosion, volume shortfalls, and at-risk accounts; escalate with recovery plans.\u00A0
  • Drive\u00A0portfolio optimization program\u00A0-\u00A0flag slow-moving, low-margin items to SM for\u00A0rationalization\u00A0decisions; execute approved phase-outs cleanly.\u00A0
  • Lead long-tail product conversion to Make-to-Order (MTO)\u00A0or\u00A0MoQ\u00A0increase\u00A0-\u00A0identify SKUs with low, irregular, or unpredictable demand that are candidates for MTO; build the business case; communicate change to customers with adequate notice and manage the transition with Supply Chain and Sales.\u00A0

Product Lifecycle Management (Current Portfolio)\u00A0

PM\u00A0manages\u00A0in-life products; SM\u00A0decides the lifecycle investment trajectory.\u00A0

  • Maintain full product knowledge across specifications, applications, regulatory status, supply chain constraints, and competitive positioning.\u00A0
  • Track product performance KPIs\u00A0-\u00A0yield, quality complaints, delivery reliability, customer satisfaction\u00A0-\u00A0and coordinate corrective action with operations and QA.\u00A0
  • Manage product transitions\u00A0&\u00A0change notifications: formulation updates,\u00A0process&\u00A0specification changes,\u00A0supplier qualification changes\u00A0-\u00A0ensuring customers are communicated with and approvals are secured.\u00A0
  • Manage packaging changes, and raw material substitutions with minimal customer disruption.\u00A0
  • Determine and prioritize business needs for\u00A0Continuous improvement/\u00A0Product consolidation/\u00A0Product rationalization and obsolescence\u00A0

New Product Launch Execution\u00A0

PM executes New\u00A0Product\u00A0Develop(NPD)\u00A0projects initiated and resourced by SM; owns delivery and commercial uptake.\u00A0

  • Manage\u00A0and support SM on\u00A0assigned NPD projects through Stage-Gate\u00A0phases (development completion\u00A0to\u00A0commercial launch\u00A0to\u00A0post-launch review);\u00A0\u00A0
  • Support SM on\u00A0the\u00A0local commercial\u00A0launch\u00A0plan: target accounts, trial schedule, launch pricing, volume ramp forecast, and first-year revenue target.\u00A0
  • Coordinate supply readiness with operations: ensure raw material qualification, scale-up batches, QC release protocols, and packaging availability are in place ahead of commercial shipment.\u00A0
  • Develop and maintain product launch collateral: technical data sheets, application notes, competitive battle cards, and sales training materials.\u00A0
  • Track post-launch performance against Year 1\u00A0targets: \u00A0present 90-day and 6-month review\u00A0to SM and\u00A0Litho leadership team.\u00A0

Demand Planning, Quality\u00A0& Supply Coordination\u00A0

  • Provide and validate product-line forecasts (revenue, volume, market share) to support: \u00A0

\u202F - Demand and supply planning\u00A0

\u202F - Asset utilization\u00A0

\u202F - Manufacturing footprint optimization\u00A0

\u202F - Resource/investment decisions impacting supply, working capital, and CAPEX\u00A0

  • Coordinate supply constraints and allocation decisions with Supply Chain and SM; communicate customer impact promptly.\u00A0\u00A0
  • Ensure manufacturing sites have sufficient capacity and capability to meet short- and mid-term customer needs (volume and product mix)\u00A0
  • Act as the primary interface with account teams and customers during supply continuity events and quality excursions\u00A0\u00A0
  • Ensure quality priorities align with product strategy, including BCP and second-source considerations.\u00A0

Education (Minimum)\u00A0

B.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field\u00A0

Education (Preferred)\u00A0

MBA preferred; dual\u00A0technical + business qualification highly valued\u00A0

Work\u00A0Experience\u00A0

Minimum of 5+ years in product management, applications engineering, or technical marketing in chemicals or adjacent industries\u00A0

Industry Knowledge\u00A0

Deep familiarity with specialty, advanced, or industrial chemicals markets and B2B customer dynamics\u00A0

The Pay range for this role is $82,600.00 - $129,800.00 Annual
