About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, dependable, outgoing, and creative Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our growing Puff Haus team!

You'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, building relationships with customers, and keeping our store running smoothly. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys learning about new products, and can confidently manage their responsibilities independently.

Have a creative side? Even better! We'd love someone who's social media-savvy and enjoys creating engaging content, capturing photos and videos, and bringing fresh ideas to our Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms, in line with platform guidelines.

This is primarily a retail position, with opportunities to contribute to our brand's social media presence.

What You'll Do

Customer Experience & Sales

• Welcome every customer with a friendly, positive attitude and provide excellent service.
• Learn our products, brands, and new arrivals to confidently answer questions and make recommendations.
• Build relationships with regular customers and help create an experience that keeps people coming back.
• Accurately process transactions using our POS system and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Verify customer age (21+) and comply with all applicable laws and store policies.

Store Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store, including customer-facing and employee-only areas.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and help manage inventory.
• Communicate customer requests, emerging product trends, and low-stock items.
• Independently handle opening and closing responsibilities.
• Stay informed about store updates, promotions, and new arrivals.
• Take initiative and help keep daily operations running smoothly.

Social Media & Creativity

• Assist with creating engaging photos, short-form videos, and other social media content.
• Bring fresh ideas for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and Stories.
• Stay current with social media trends and creative content styles.
• Help capture approved content that reflects our store, team, and brand personality.
• Support a consistent and professional online presence while following platform guidelines.

Who We're Looking For

• 21 years of age or older
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
• Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys helping customers
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask during busy periods
• Comfortable using POS systems, tablets, and other digital tools
• Willing to learn about new products, brands, and industry trends
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and social media trends
• Creative and comfortable capturing photos or short videos
• Flexible availability across weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
• Smoke/vape shop experience is helpful but not required
• Social media content creation experience is highly desirable
