Nurse Practitioner Newborn Hospitalist

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children's Hospital is seeking a Hospitalist nurse practitioner to work in their newborn nursery in Spokane, Washington. This position is part-time at 0.5 FTE. Join a collaborative and dedicated team of physicians and APCs in eastern Washington.

Duties include:

• Care for newborn infants 35 weeks and above
• Working as part of a larger team which includes other ARNP and MD/DO providers
• Daytime care responsibilities (call excluded)
• Appropriate identification and transfer of infants who require higher level of care in the NICU
• Appropriate consultation to Pediatric sub-specialists when applicable
• Collaboration with outpatient providers who will accept these babies after hospital discharge
• Compensation is between $64,000 and $82,000 per year

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
