Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Physical Therapist (PT)
to join an outpatient rehabilitation team in Edison, NJ. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and manage pain.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical abilities, limitations, and functional needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and appropriate pain-management techniques.
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Follow applicable healthcare regulations, safety standards, and clinical best practices.
- Participate in initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes and clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and exercise prescription.
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Prior clinical experience in an outpatient, orthopedic, or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday
- Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts
- No weekend requirement
Patient Population & Caseload
- Adult patient population
- Approximately 20-25 patients per day
- Outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation setting
