Physical Therapist - New grads accepted Location: Houston, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time

Setting: Outpatient
Job Summary We are seeking a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy services to patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and integumentary conditions. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide appropriate therapies, monitor patient progress, and help restore function, relieve pain, and prevent or minimize disability.
Key Responsibilities
- Review physician referrals, prescriptions, patient conditions, and medical records to determine appropriate treatment.
- Evaluate patients' strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and overall physical condition.
- Develop and document individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
- Administer physical therapy treatments and provide appropriate home exercise instructions.
- Monitor patient responses and modify treatment plans as needed to support optimal outcomes.
- Document treatments, patient responses, and progress according to clinic guidelines.
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and treatment plans.
- Supervise or assist with student observations and clinical rotations when applicable.
- Participate in in-service training, departmental meetings, and professional development activities.
- Assist with marketing and promotional activities as needed.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the clinic and perform other duties assigned by the PT Director or Clinical Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas required.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Prior related experience is preferred but not required for qualified new graduates.
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
