Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Part-Time Contract

Pay: $65 per 60-minute intake, $35 per 30-minute follow-up

Hours: About 8–10 per week

Type: 1099 independent contractor (no guaranteed hours)

Prosper & Bloom Mental Health is a neuro-affirming practice focused on ADHD care for college students and early-career adults. We offer unrushed appointments and take time to hear each client out. We're growing into a group practice and want a PMHNP who shares that approach.

What we provide

• Company email and phone line
• EHR and prescribing systems (SimplePractice, MDToolBox, Spruce Health)
• Billing and credentialing, including linking you to our group
• A virtual administrative assistant
• Optional free access to our Baton Rouge office

What you'll do

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management, mostly for ADHD, anxiety, and depression
• 60-minute new patient visits, 30-minute follow-ups

Requirements

• Active Louisiana APRN license and PMHNP board certification
• DEA registration
• Your own malpractice insurance

Preferred

• Previously enrolled with insurance payers (such as BCBS, UHC/Optum, Aetna, Cigna) under your own NPI
• Experience working with young adults managing ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other executive challenges at school/work.

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 10.0 per week
