PRN Physical Therapist (PT) – 1099 Contract/Pay per Visit - DFW

Overview

Progressive Steps Therapy, LLC provides compassionate, high-quality therapy services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through community-based programs. Our team is committed to improving mobility, functional ability, and overall quality of life for the individuals we serve.

We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team on a PRN contract basis. The PT will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing skilled physical therapy services to support individuals in achieving their mobility and functional goals. This is an ongoing PRN 1099 contract position, offering flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of patients
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) as applicable
• Document patient progress, evaluations, and treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and caregivers
• Maintain compliance with all professional standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Current Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• Experience working with adult population with IDD preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation
