Workover Rig Operations Manager

Job Summary

***FYI*** Workover rig supervisor experience is a MUST.

DO NOT apply if you ONLY have drilling rig experience.

We are seeking an experienced Rig Manager to oversee operations on our workover rig operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, with a focus on ensuring the safety and efficiency of workover operations.

The Rig Manager will be responsible for managing personnel, equipment, and logistics to ensure successful project execution in the oil and gas industry.

Duties

· Responsible for overseeing daily rig tickets, arranging crews, checking on daily rig jobs and any other day-to-day tasks to assist with rig operations.

· Responsible for maintenance on all equipment – i.e. weekly mileage on trucks, quarterly oil changes on rigs, and any other necessary maintenance on oil owned equipment.

· Oversees any P&A jobs including pre-plugging meetings. Not limited to helping with moving equipment to and from location and review of invoices for the job.

· Review of all field paperwork with corporate office.

· Maintain cleanliness of yard and organization of equipment at yard.

· Not limited to the following and any additional responsibilities and tasks as that the position requires.

Requirements

• Workover rig experience is a MUST.
• Proven experience in workover rig management or a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, including cranes and forklifts.
• Valid commercial driving license is a plus.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in challenging environments while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.

Job Type

Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
