Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for rehabilitation patients (post-acute, stroke, orthopedic, neuro)
• Perform ongoing assessments and monitor clinical condition and progress toward rehab goals
• Communicate changes in condition, diagnostic results, and symptomatology to physicians
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per plan of care
• Support mobility, ADLs, and patient independence in collaboration with therapy teams
• Educate patients and families on recovery, safety, and discharge planning
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.

BLS upon hire and maintain current.

Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.

Pay Transparency:

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.00 to $49.16 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
