Full Stack Developer – Backend Focus

THIS IS A FULL-TIME ROLE, CANDIDATES FROM THIRD-PARTY AGENCIES WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE REJECTED Position: Full Stack Developer – Backend Focus Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days wfh) We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong backend skills to join a fast-paced team working in an AI-driven development environment.

This role involves approximately 70% backend and 30% frontend development , with a focus on databases, APIs, and delivering practical business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, asking questions to clarify needs and contributing to solution design.
• Develop and enhance backend services, database functionality, and RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to frontend development as part of end-to-end application delivery.
• Incorporate AI into development workflows and implemented solutions.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver quality work within aggressive timelines.

What we’re looking for

• Approximately 2–3 years of relevant professional development experience .
• Strong backend development experience, particularly in database-related work.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Rust —at least one is required.
• Strong SQL and database skills.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP ; AWS is preferred.
• Experience developing or integrating RESTful APIs .
• Meaningful experience incorporating AI into actual development work or implemented solutions , ideally involving projects that reached production.
• Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, or financial services is a plus.
