Family Nurse Practitioner

Employee agrees to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

Provider duties to include, but not limited to:

Hours Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM, lunch from 1 PM to 2 PM

8 hour shifts approximately 10 patients per day

Basic procedures: toenail removal, I&D, simple laceration repair with sutures, punch and shave biopsies

Provision of direct acute health care services - walk in and same day visits including any subsequent follow up

Initiation of therapeutic management/ intervention for both acute and chronic illnesses in all ages

Perform and/or request diagnostic tests as needed

Counseling and coordination of standard patient care services

Maintaining professional education credits

Adhere to the national standard and national guidelines of evidence based medicine

Practice within the Alaska Board of Nursing scope of practice

It is explicitly understood that Power of Wellness will allow Employee adequate time with each patient to accomplish the above-referenced duties consistent with Power of Wellness’s core missions for patient care.

Pay: $450.00 - $650.00 per day
