About this role
Bilingual Housing & Logistics Manager (English/Spanish)
$50,000–$60,000/yr DOE | Full-Time | Stuart, FL (On-Site)
You keep 500 people housed, moving, and on the job, without wasting a dollar doing it.
Alpha Labor Co puts field crews on hyperscale data center jobs across the country for some of the biggest names in tech. Our guys travel. Every one of them needs a bed, a ride, and a plan before they hit the site.
When that falls apart, a crew sits idle and a job falls behind. We need someone who makes sure that never happens, and who treats our housing budget like it's their own money.
You're the person a foreman calls at 9pm when a hotel cancels, and you have it fixed before he finishes his dinner. You're also the person who notices we're paying for three rooms nobody has slept in since Tuesday, and you shut them down before the next night hits the card.
What you'll do:
- Audit housing spend constantly. Check every hotel and rental against who's actually in it. Empty rooms, double-booked rooms, rooms for guys who quit or moved jobs: you find them and kill them.
- Make sure we're not overpaying. Compare our rates against the market, push hotels for better group and extended-stay pricing, and move crews when a better deal makes sense.
- Keep housing and travel costs inside budget, and report where the money is going and where we can save
- Find, book, and manage housing for traveling crews: hotels, extended stays, and short-term rentals near job sites nationwide
- Coordinate crew travel: flights, rental cars, company vehicles, and mobilization/demobilization schedules
- Track room assignments, check-ins/check-outs, damages, and lease terms so nothing slips through the cracks
- Be the main point of contact for field employees on housing and travel issues, in English and Spanish
- Work with operations and project managers to plan housing ahead of new job starts and crew moves
- Solve problems as they come up (cancellations, disputes, last-minute crew changes) on your own, fast, and without waiting for someone to tell you what to do
What you need:
- Fluent in English AND Spanish, spoken and written. This is required. A big part of your day will be in Spanish.
- Self-sufficient. You don't need hand-holding. You see a problem, figure it out, fix it, and tell us after.
- A real problem solver. When plan A falls apart at 10pm, you already have plan B.
- Sharp with numbers. You catch a bad rate or a charge that doesn't add up, and you can show your math.
- 2+ years in logistics, travel coordination, hospitality, property management, or construction operations
- Strong with computers: spreadsheets, booking platforms, email. Experience with Airtable or similar is a plus
- Comfortable negotiating with hotels, landlords, and vendors, and holding them to what they promised
- Available for occasional after-hours calls when crews are on the road
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- 9-5 Monday through Friday in person (not remote) at our Stuart office.
What you get:
- $50,000–$60,000/yr depending on experience
- Health insurance
- Real ownership from day one. This function is yours to run.
- A new office in Stuart, a fast-growing company, and leadership that came up in the field and answers the phone
- We're not a corporate machine. Good ideas get used here.
