**Position overview**

Support the product management team with all topics relating to Porsche Cross Carline Technology. This role is classified as a Band 3B role within PCNA.

**Roles \& responsibilities**

Primary responsibilities:

  • Responsible for PCNA product cross carline technology, by advocating for US Porsche customers towards PCNA executives and PAG counterparts.
  • Owns and drives the process of corporate foresight, specifically related to the product portfolio and shall include white space analysis, external pressures and opportunities to the Porsche business, etc.
  • Drive and develop and maintain cross\-carline technology documentation, timelines and competitor comparisons. Cross carline features and technologies include but are not limited to Porsche Connect, ADAS functions, Audio Systems, All\-Wheel Drive systems, and performance options such as Sport Chrono Package, etc.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for Porsche product differentiation and focus.
  • Ensure consistency in Product/Option strategy but preserving differentiation between carlines where appropriate.
  • Analyze the US automotive market and upcoming trends. Prepare arguments and supporting facts for US Porsche product feature and technology advocacy.
  • Evaluate customer needs, use case journeys and experience for existing and new features.
  • Visualize similarities and differences of these features between Porsche and competitors.
  • Preparation of data and statistical analysis of potential option installation rates, trends, competitive pricing comparisons.
  • Create presentations to report findings of data and research analysis to PCNA and PAG executives.
  • Ad hoc and regular data analysis for Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, PR, PAG teams
  • Support the product managers with collateral review for product accuracy as it pertains to cross carline technology.
  • Assist and guide in product training and launch activities pertaining to new technologies.
  • Responsible for procurement and accounting paperwork regarding vendor/supplier contracts.

Decision Making:

  • Semi\-autonomous: The position is required to analyze and interpret facts and statistics and make suggestions in collaboration with the PCNA and PAG partner teams.

Supervision:

  • Semi\-Autonomous: The position receives guidance on unusual or highly complex issues. Considerable latitude \& judgment.

**Qualifications**

Education:

  • Bachelors’ degree in business, engineering or similar field.
  • Masters degree in business, engineering, technology or product management, etc. a plus.

Experience:

  • 6\+ years of experience of product management, product planning, vehicle line management, project management or related project management in an automotive setting.
  • Proven ability to translate customer insights, market trends and competitive intelligence into product requirements.
  • Experience or understanding of developing, visualizing and executing multi\-year product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Experience managing products across multiple vehicle segments and/or nameplates.
  • Ability to understand complex data and narrow down to essential information
  • Experience with, understanding of and interest in new technologies.
  • Advanced experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Copilot, Tableau, Microstrategy or other business intelligence tools a plus.

  • Understanding of the following Porsche internal and external systems is a plus: SMART, Auto Data, PIN Explorer, IHS Global, SAP, PVMS, PCCD.
  • Ability to multi\-task and handle multiple priorities and make decisions independently.
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills \- ability to interact with of all levels of a multi\-cultural organization.
  • Planning and organization \- time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to 2 weeks at a time.
  • Proficient working in a multi\-cultural environment. German language skills are helpful but not required.
  • Responsible for the proper usage, awareness, and compliance with IT security policies at PCNA.
  • Seeks to ensure proper retention of electronic documents, business confidential information, and actively demonstrates an understanding of the need to safeguard competitive information in both electronic and non\-electronic formats.

Percentage of required travel: 5\-10%

The salary range for this role is $89,000\-$124,000\. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset.

Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.

**Physical requirements**

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
