Senior Corporate Counsel - Public Sector

Job Description

Polar Notion is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to provide legal guidance on contracts, regulatory compliance, and public-sector business matters. This role supports organizational decision-making by managing legal risks, reviewing commercial agreements, and advising leadership on government-related requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and public-sector contracts
• Advise leadership on legal risks and compliance obligations
• Support government procurement and contracting activities
• Review policies and procedures for regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary
• Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments
• Provide practical legal guidance to internal business teams

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Significant experience in corporate law, contracts, or public-sector matters
• Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and regulatory compliance
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage complex matters and competing priorities
