Pocket Physio is a growing private practice built around one-on-one care. We help patients recover from injuries, surgery and ongoing pain, and get back to the activities they enjoy.
We're looking for a dependable, curious PT who enjoys working with patients and wants to keep learning. You'll have longer treatment sessions, clinical autonomy and colleagues to talk through challenging cases with.
The role
- Evaluate and treat orthopedic and sports-related conditions, including pre- and post-operative care.
- Build treatment plans around each patient's goals using exercise, strength training, manual therapy and education.
- Keep timely documentation and coordinate care when needed.
- Could potentially become a full time role in the future.
What we're looking for
- Graduate of an accredited PT program with a current New York PT license or eligibility for one.
- Strong communication skills and an interest in evidence-based orthopedic and sports rehab.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Outpatient experience, manual therapy, strength and conditioning, and relevant certifications are a plus. Newer clinicians are welcome to apply.
Schedule & pay
Part-time, with potential for more hours as we grow. Evening and/or weekend availability is especially welcome.
Competitive hourly pay based on experience, certifications, availability and clinical background. Additional growth and performance-based compensation may be available.
We offer mentorship, case discussions and professional development, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as the practice grows.
To apply
- Send your resume and a short introduction about your experience, the patients you enjoy treating and what you're looking for in your next role.
Compensation
- $80-100/hr
